Amber N. Ford is one of the area’s most talented young photographers, doing both fine art and editorial work. Her personal works encompasses both experimental style and studies of particular subjects, often marginalized people and people under duress and threat.
Anytime she has a new show it’s worth checking out, so even though we don’t know what it’s about, her new body of work called UNTITLED (I Really Just Made This Work So I Could Heal), which opens at Akhso Gallery at ATNSC this weekend is sure to be worth the trip. ATNSC describes itself as “a socially engaged, artist led, interdisciplinary retreat, residency, research and exhibition space in the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.” It’s located at 11808 Cromwell.
If you want to learn ore about Amber and the work she create for this show, she’ll be doing a Zoom artist talk on Wednesday October 25. All are welcome. Go here to join the talk.
