The Dancing Wheels Company & School, which presents choreography that blends wheelchair and “stand-up” dancers, heads over to the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland (moCa) to present a performance called “To Have and To Hold,” featuring Dancing Wheels Company members and apprentices.
Dancing Wheels choreographers McKenzie Beaverson, Angelina DiFranco, Annette Ellis, Brian Murphy and DeMarco Sleeper were invited to develop pieces based a current show at moCa called “Don’t mind if I do,” featuring work created by visual artist with disabilities.
Guests can view the show prior to the concert, which will be followed by an audience talkback. Go here for tickets and information.
