Dana Jessen Wins Cleveland Arts Prize 2023

Hailed as a bassoon virtuoso” (Chicago Reader), Dana Jessen is in high demand as a soloist, chamber musician, improviser and New Music specialist.  She is also the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship and a Huygens Fellowship. Dana serves as an associate professor at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. 

She has presented dozens of world premiere performances throughout North America and Europe and holds a Masters of Music in bassoon performance from New England Conservatory of Music and a Masters of Music in new dutch swing from the Artez Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in the Netherlands.

The Cleveland Arts Prize will hold its 63rd Annual Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 26, 2023 in Gartner Auditorium at the Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio. Tickets are available here.
