The Cleveland Cultural Gardens’ World onstage series, celebrating the expanding array of international cultures represented in the gardens, continues with a Latin American program. Cleveland-based Brazilian vocalist/guitarist Moises Borges, a very familiar figure in the local music scene, will be bringing his band to perform some of the indigenous and popular music of his home country. Local samba school Samba da Cidade will offer percussion and samba dancing, joined by the Oye Dance Company. And, if previous events in the series are any indication, there’ll be Latin American food available for purchase.
It takes place at the gardens’ Centennial Peace Plaza. It’s free and open to all.
