About this time of year, everyone is thinking wistfully about summer: shedding coats, hats and gloves, walking barefoot, sipping tall cool drinks, enjoying refreshing breezes off the lake that don’t involve ice, catching some languid, feel-good music at an outdoor festival or concert.
You can enjoy the latter if you close your eyes and imagine the Groh Shop is Wade Oval or Howe Meadow, when Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band. Cleveland’s quintessential summertime act, takes the stage on this January weekend. For 30 years, they’ve been bringing their upbeat rockin’ reggae, which emits positive vibes like sparks, to virtually every summertime event in the region. Wintertime needs a little of that vibe too! EJ & the Animals get the party started.
