The general public will be able to buy tickets for the 37th annual Rock & Toll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, starting Friday September 9 @ 10am Pacific Standard Time;
Yeah, PACIFIC Standard Time. Because this year, the ceremony won’t be in Cleveland but rather at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday November 5. So unless you’ve got extra money, Clevelanders’ best shot at seeing it is at a later date on HBO or streamed on HBO Max. It will also simulcast on radio on SiriusXM’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Radio channel 310 and Volume channel 106.
That’s too bad because among this year’s inductees are Pat Benatar and her husband/guitarist Neil Giraldo, who is a Parma native. They join Duran Duran Eminem, Eurythmics, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, and Carly Simon in the main group of inductees, with Judas Priest and producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis cited for “musical excellence” (?), Harry Belagonte and Elizabeth Cotton for “early influence” (where is Patsy Cline already?), and Allen Grubman, Jimmy Iovine and Sylvia Robinson getting the nod with the Ahmet Ertegun award for industry movers and shakers.
