Wed 11/24 @ noon-8PM
The closing of the beloved, long-running import shop City Buddha in Coventry Village this past summer has left a large vacant space on the street.
But at least for the holiday season it won’t be empty when the Made Cleveland Holiday Pop-up moves in. Conceived by entrepreneur Ash O’Connor during the pandemic, Made Cleveland has done pop-up shops in different parts of the city, including one last year in a different space on Coventry.
Now she and her roster of local makers and creators moves in until Thursday December 23, where they’ll be open seven days a week from noon-7pm. The grand opening is Wednesday November 24 @ noon-6pm, with a “Sip & Shop” event from 5-8pm, with free beverages and snacks, music by Izzey Perl and Larchmere Fireworks doing glassblowing and blacksmithing demos with their portable furnace.
On Friday November 26, they’ll be hosting Paul Lender of Cleveland Tintype doing a pop-up demo and on Saturday November 27 Opus 216 will be playing classical music from 1-3pm and Smokin Betty’s BBQ sauce will be doing tastings.
For a schedule of future pop-ups go to their event page.
