Cleveland Independents’ 14th Restaurant Week will go on, but it’s going to look a little different this year. Generally it’s featured tasting menus from participating restaurants with three-course meals at a fixed price.
This year, however, there’s limited dining in at many eateries and many diners are just reluctant to go out. It’s not a time of adventurous treks to try new places. Instead Cleveland Restaurant To Go will take place from November 9-20. This year, nearly 50 participating restaurants will offer dinners for two or four, and special dinners with cocktails. Each place will create its own menus, formats and pricing.
“We are very excited about Cleveland Restaurant Week To Go not only it should generate much-needed additional revenue for our members but also because some members who did not participate in our prix fixe promotions are participating this year,” says Cleveland Independents acting executive director Myra Orenstein.
Joining the promotion this year are Melt Bar and Grilled and Luna Bakery & Café, along with new Cleveland Independents members 750ml Wines and Char Whiskey Bar and Grill will also participate. Some member restaurants will offer dining in as well as carry out.
