The upscale Peninsula Flea, which features handmade and recycled crafts, original artworks and collectible vintage items, returned for 2020 on June 6 with safety and health-related measures in place and they’re saying everything went well, with vendor booths well-spaced and shoppers wearing their face masks, keeping a distance from unrelated others, and utilizing the sanitizing stations they’ve installed. The open spaces at Heritage Farms allowed plenty of elbow room as well as a pleasant and relaxing environment in which to browse vendors selling things such as pet toys, hand-painted furniture, jewelry, homemade cookies, planters, bird houses, natural personal care products, soaps, paper goods and much more.
Normally the market takes place once a month, but because of the cancellation of this year’s Boston Mills ArtFest nearby they added a second. They’re nimble because most of their vendors are from around the area.
Future market dates for 2020 are July 11, August 1 and September 5. It’s free to attend and to park.
