For the past decade, the Knoxville, Tennessee-based Black Lillies have been building a reputation and following as one of the most creative proponents of Americana, blending jazz, bluegrass, blues and more into their thoughtful sound.
The band’s founder and core member is singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Cruz Contreras, who has a solo album coming out this spring. He’s preparing fans for it by doing a short series of small club and house concert gigs where they can get a first listen to the new music.
When he comes to Cleveland, he’ll be performing in Joel and Lynn’s Ohio City living room aka Mechanic Street House Concerts, where listeners can enjoy music in an exceptionally intimate atmosphere.
It’s a suggested $20 donation, all of which goes to the artist. Email team@mechanicstreetmusic.com to reserve your spot and learn the exact location.
