If you’re one of the many who can’t take a Tuesday off work, come down and celebrate Mardi Gras — Fat Tuesday — on the East Bank of the Flats. Its fifth annual Mardi Gras Crawl gives ticketholders the chance to party at multiple venues. Just buy a passport for $10, register at Truman’s (1050 W. 10th Street) between 12 and 2pm, and start crawling! Truman’s with have live music and a merch table where celebrants can buy Mardi Gras masks if they didn’t bring their own. There’ll be food and drink specials at the 13 participating venues and even live music at some.
The crawl is officially over at 5, but there’s an afterparty with music by Cats on Holiday at Dante’s inferno from 4:30-6:30pm.
Proceeds benefit H.E.L.P., a nonprofit organization which funds education for children in rural Africa. Participants must be 21.
