Local Acts Heat Up the BOP STOP at Reggae Revolution

Fri 1/18 @ 7:30PM

What better way to warn off the January chill with an evening of reggae music, evoking the warm climate of sunny Jamaica?

Reggae Revolution at the Bop Stop will do just that with a lineup of northeast Ohio-based reggae artists. The show features Jamaica native/Cleveland resident Sunshade (pictured), who released an EP last year called Don’t You Be, with music running from roots reggae to dancehall; another Jamaica ex-pat Ras Khalifa who relocated to Cleveland after a stay in London and has been part of the local reggae scene for decades; Ms. BBC and Conscious-I; and the popular stars of the local reggae scene, Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band, who pack every summer festival and are just as enjoyable indoors in the winter with their focus on uplifting good vibes.

Admission is $10.
