NEO native Tom Batiuk created the massive hit comic strips Funky Winkerbean and Crankshaft that ran for decades in over 400 newspapers worldwide.

He launched a graphic novel, Lisa’s Story: The Other Shoe,” which has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 2008.

Batiuk will be at Baldwin Wallace University Sandstone Three, Strosacker Hall on Tue 11/13 at 7PM as part of their Voices of Imagination and Innovation series.
