Art at the Schoolhouse is a beautiful light-filled space in the Murray Hill Schoolhouse in Little Italy that recently opened as this gallery.
It’s a lovely setting for a concert by Scots-Irish fiddler Feargus Hetherington, a former Cleveland Institute of Music student back in town to play for one night only. While he’s well-schooled in both classical and folk music, this program will feature traditional Scottish and Irish music, as well as his own compositions. He’ll perform with local guest musicians including a mainstay of Cleveland’s jazz scene, pianist George Foley.
There’s a reception at 6:45pm, as well as a chance to linger afterward,which gives guests a chance to look at the work by landscape painter Bonnie Dolin, currently on display. Music starts are 7:30. Tickets are $15.
