Threatening weather did nothing to deter a solid crowd from roaming over 30 restaurant tents, a beer & wine tent, a photo booth and the main stage on Sun 6/10/18.
Reasonably priced samples of regular menu items and specially created delicacies were served up to hungry festival goers. Well-organized with food tents surrounding a wide open midway at the South end of Madison Park, lines for the most popular eateries were constant, but not unbearable.
Music by Fireside! and JellyNJamz (a one-off project formed just for Taste of Lakewood) provided the festival groove, while the canine cafe offered lots of good-looking dogs the opportunity to sample their own tastes.
Not to be overlooked, Athens Avenue by the Screw Factory featured a dozen tents with local merchants and purveyors of soaps, t-shirts and crafts.
