Cleveland’s Welshly Arms Stop Home to Be Heroes for United Way at Free Public Square Event

Wed 6/27 @ 4-8PM

Cleveland’s Welshly Arms have been “on the verge” for about five years now, and while they haven’t broken through to major stardom, the buzz has persisted and the band has expanded its reach with extensive touring, placements in ads and new releases.

They’ve just released a new album called No Place Is Home, which will hopefully elevate the buzz. It displays their versatility without straying outside the mainstream. Their slightly bluesy classic-sounding rock & roll works well in multiple contexts and crosses generations and tastes in music.

The group will be touring the U.S. this summer, followed by dates in Europe in the late summer, with more European and U.S. shows in the fall. They’re going to be busy! But before they hit the road, you can see them play for free at Public Square at United Way’s Heroes Unite event.

There will be food and drink available for purchase, superheroes to meet, a photo boot, games of skill and superhero-themed games including a video game virtual reality simulation. The event is intended all ages — very family-friendly!
