Cleveland nonprofit Folknet is dedicated to promoting acoustic music, both local performers and touring artists. And their annual Folknet Concert Series brings to town artists who might not have the perfect venue elsewhere, since these are the types of artists listeners will want to pay close attention to.

Its next concert, taking place at Church of the Good Shepherd in Lyndhurst, features Nathan Bell, described as a “hard-luck troubadour” who has lived a “nomadic, bohemian” life as well as the life of a family man with a corporate gig. Now in his late 50s, he tells the story of both in his songs.

Tickets are $15, $12 for Folknet members.
