Four years ago, the Cleveland Culinary Launch and Kitchen opened on Euclid Avenue near the Cleveland State campus. The shared kitchen/incubator space gives budding entrepreneurs with a great idea for a food product a chance to start out on a manageable scale by renting professional-level space to produce and store their products. It fills in that gap between home production and a full-scale production space of their own. And it provides opportunities for business education, support and networking to help entrepreneurs make that next leap, offering workshops, classes and showcase events.
One of those is the open house it hosts each year so visitors can come see who is working there now, what they are making and get a taste of the next generation of locally produced edibles. There’s food, drinks and music, and it’s free. Register here.
