Jazz is a late-night kind of music, a vibe that veteran Cleveland sax player emphasizes in his latest set of compositions he calls “Music from the Other Side of Midnight” “inspired by both the revelry and the reflection that live in the middle of the night.”
He’s assembled a stellar group of young and old musicians, both familiar faces on the local scene and newcomers, to interpret these pieces including vocalist Erin Kufel-vocals, pianist Joe Hunter, guitarist Brent Hamker, bassist Charise Grimes and drummer Ricky Exton. They’ll be performing at Nighttown. Tickets are $20.
