This is certainly a discouraging time in America for women, as a serial harasser is in the White House (anyone remember when president was impeached for consensual sex?) and even self-proclaimed progressives are saying that women’s reproductive rights are “negotiable.”
Don’t sit home and seethe. Do something. Tonight is women’s health clinic Preterm’s annual Bowl-A-Thon which raises money to ensure that even women lacking means can make the choice they want to make about whether to have a child.
It takes place at Madison Square Lanes in Lakewood, and even if you didn’t sign up for a team, you can still come and cheer them on. All you have to do is raise at least $50 online on your personal fundraising page. Go here for details.
