As Tremont’s primacy as an arts and gallery neighborhood was being challenged by other areas, its star as a restaurant destination was rising, and it’s continued its ascent.
So it’s got plenty to celebrate at the Taste of Tremont, now in its 13th year. Tens of thousands of visitors make their way to Professor Avenue where there’s a wine and beer garden at the north end between Literary and Fairfield and booths from local restaurants and food vendors lining — each one must have a neighborhood connection. Bands will be playing in the beer garden as well as on the Tremont Farmers Market stage at the south end of professor near Starkweather.
The event is free so you’ll have more money for food and drink.
