Sat 9/10
It’s going to be the 35th year for one of the best days of indie music in Cleveland: WRUW 91.1 FM’s annual Studio-A-Rama. The free concert will be held this year in Sat 9/10, as usual in the courtyard behind the Mather Building, where the Case Western Reserve University radio station’s studios are located.
Each year, there’s a national headliner, one or two regional bands, and seven or eight local bands. And WRUW is currently accepting submissions from bands who’d like to be considered. They’re open to all types of music; the only requirement is that the act hasn’t played the event in the last four years. Deadline is Sun 7/17.
