The Human Rights Campaign @HRC Bowling for LGBT Rights @Mahalls30Lanes

HRCRock&Bowl

Sat 1/30 @ 6-8PM, and 8-10PM

2005 was a great year for LGBT rights. In June, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down its decision in the Obergefell vs. Hodges case, which legalized marriage equality in every state.

But there’s a lot that remains to be done. Many states, including Ohio, don’t protect LGBT people from discrimination in jobs and housing. So the local affiliate of the Human Rights Campaign — the big dog of LGBT advocacy groups — is hosting “Rock and Bowl: A Strike for Positive Change” at Mahall’s 20 Lanes in Lakewood.

There’ll be two shifts, from 6-8pm and 8-10pm. Tickets range from $20 in advance/$25 at the door for a single ticket to $225/$275 for a VIP lane which includes light snacks and two drink tickets. All tickets include shoes, balls and two hours of bowling. The bar and kitchen will be open.
