Jazz pianist Joe Hunter has been all over the local music scene for a couple of decades. He’s performed with Ernie Krivda’s Fat Tuesday Band, Swing City, Red Light Roxy and Bill Rudman’s The Song Is You! series of tributes to the great songwriters of the early-mid 20th-century. He’s on the faculty of Tri-C’s nationally noted jazz program and of course he has performed at the annual Tri-C Jazz Fest.
He’ll be coming back to Nighttown for a holiday celebration with an all-star ensemble and some special guests to be announced. It should be a fun and relaxed evening of great music featuring some of the area’s outstanding jazz players. Admission is $15.
