Young guitarist Dan Wilson is an up-and-comer in the local jazz scene. The 2006 Hiram graduate who got his masters from the Youngstown State University’s renowned music program in 2009 where he now teaches, has appeared on stage with virtually every jazz player of significance in the region and he and his band appears regularly at all the major jazz venues and concert series.
Naturally, he’s back at the Akron Civic Theatre for its Jazz @ the Civic series, taking place in its intimate onstage cabaret set-up. Tickets are $20 or two for $35.
