James Feddeck is no stranger to Cleveland classical music audiences. A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, where he worked in four areas — piano, oboe, organ and conducting — he was assistant conductor of the Cleveland Orchestra and music director of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra for four seasons from 2009-2013. He’s now got a busy schedule conducting orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony. the Toronto Symphony, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic.
He’s found time in his world traveling to return to Cleveland to perform on the McMyler Memorial Organ in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Gartner Auditorium. He’ll play pieces by J. S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Samuel Barber, Jehan Alain, and Charles-Marie Widor.
The concert is free and no tickets are required.
