Guitarist Brian Henke was once one of Cleveland’s rock & rollers. But that was a long time ago. He ditched the band for solo work and set aside the electric guitar for the acoustic to explore more nuanced music with traces of classical, jazz, folk and new age. He also brings in influences from nature, which makes him the ideal performer for Holden Arboretum’s outdoor summer concert series.
Admission is only $5 after 5PM, so you have time to explore the grounds and have dinner — bring a picnic or buy something from the onsite caterer — before the music starts at 7PM. The concert goes on in case of rain, moving indoors to the visitor center.
