The Canton Blues Festival is back for its 14th season with two full days of music culminating in sets by big-name headliners. But come early and catch some great regional blues artists on two stages, including Gaetano’s Underworld Blues, Cincinnati guitarist Sonny Moorman, Dan Holt and John Sutton & Luther Trammel on Friday; Electric Mud, Bongo Joe & Little Steve-O, the Wanda Hunt Band, Wallace Coleman, Jon Mosey, Matt Basso, Travis Black and Tim Milligan on Saturday.

The big names take the main stage starting at 6:30 with Jimmy Thackery opening and veteran guitarist Tommy Castro & his relatively new ensemble the Painkillers (pictured) headlining on Friday, and Florida guitarist Albert Castiglia headlining the Saturday show with Biscuit Miller opening.

It’s free, although VIP passes for close-up seats and free food and beverages after 5pm are available for $50 for one ay, $80 for both days. They can be purchased online or call 330-458-2070.
