Support the Cleveland Street Chronicle @clevhomeless

The Cleveland Street Chronicle (formerly Homeless Grapevine) newspaper has been a much-needed voice of the homeless community for over 16 years. Homeless vendors purchase the paper, sell it to the public (you may have seen vendors near the West Side Market or throughout town), and keep the profits. The papers contain insights on what it’s like to be homeless in Cleveland from people who’ve experienced it themselves.

Lend the paper your support by attending a benefit at Algebra Tea House featuring Ernie Krivda on sax along with Drumplay. Ray McNiece will be the guest poet with Drumplay. In addition to supporting the paper, the event serves as a remembrance for Cuyahoga County Poet Laureate Daniel Thompson (pictured), who wrote hundreds of poems for the old Homeless Grapevine newspaper.
