Back in 1984, Cleveland marketing executive Dick Clough found himself at loose ends and decided to do something to help others less fortunate. So he organized Dick Clough & Friends, Tour of Good Cheer. Utilizing 3 buses and nearly 100 volunteers, the event delivers tons of warm clothing, personal hygiene items, children’s toys and holiday cheer to over 1,500 individuals at nine facilities in a single day.
And, this year is the event’s 30th anniversary so they’re throwing a party @ Greek Orthodox Annunciation Party Center in Tremont. Entertainment includes live music from Cats on Holiday and The Poltorek Twins, plus a special guest artist. Your $30 donation will support the tour’s commitment to 1,000+ needy children and homeless families every year. RSVP to clough1217@aol.com.
