Daniel Shapiro & Friends Play Quintets for Arts Renaissance Tremont

Sun 11/17 @ 3PM

Pianist and Cleveland Institute of Music instructor Daniel Shapiro has performed all over the world, including Brazil, Korea, Spain, and Ireland, both with orchestras, in recitals and with chamber groups.

He’ll be performing in our backyard — and for free yet — when he appears at Pilgrim Congregational Church as “Daniel Shapiro and Friends.” Those “friends” comprise a string quartet featuring four young players: violinists Jinjoo Cho and James Thomas, violist Leah Ferguson, and cellist Carlyn Kessler.

They’ll perform piano quintets by Antonín Dvořák and César Franck.

The concert is part of the Arts Renaissance Tremont series. If you like what you hear, they will eagerly accept your freewill donation.
