Now That’s Class Celebrates Bone Thugs N Harmony Day

Wed 10/30 @5PM

Bone Thugs N Harmony have had their ups and downs in the last decade, splintering and regrouping, becoming inactive and then reuniting.

But no one can deny that they are probably Cleveland’s most important contribution to the genre of hip-hop, ever, and that their 1995 album, E. 1999 Eternal, with its stunning track “Tha Crossroads,” is an enduring masterpiece.

The quintet’s first salvo, the 1994 EP Creepin on ah Come Up, established their distinctive sound and the band as an influence force in rap. In their honor, then-mayor Michael White declared October 30 “Bone Thugs N Harmony Day” in Cleveland.

To celebrate, Now that’s Class will be playing their music during happy hour from 5-9.

It’s free.
