Add some purpose to your St. Patty’s Day. Join Food and Water Watch’s Fair Farm Bill Campaign, City Rising Farm, Blaine Avenue Community Garden and The Green Triangle for a day of action @ City Rising Farm in Cle. Help the farm get prepared for the spring planting season. You’ll also work at City Rising’s permaculture garden and learn why we need to shift the power away from big agri-business back to family farmers.
More details: “The Farm Bill is a piece for federal legislation that governs all the agricultural policy in the country. It comes through congress once every 5 years and 2012 is one of those years! We are working to make sure that Senator Brown is protecting small farmers and ensuring consumers have access to locally grown, healthy, affordable food! Please join us!
