16 Interpretations of Ken Nordine’s “Colors” @ Pink Eye Gallery

An exhibit to delight your senses: On Sat 4/2 Pink Eye Gallery presents 6 Interpretations of Ken Nordine’s classic 1960s album, “Colors.” See how Cle experimental artists Dana Depew, Scott Pickering, Andrew Shondrick, Michelle Marie Murphy and others “bring to life the vivid imagery of Nordine’s words.” Back in Jan, each artist was presented with a copy of “Colors” and were instructed to listen to it then select one song to bring to life though art.

The event will also showcase some of Cleveland’s top emerging artists including CHOD, Ron Copeland, Marlee Pickles, Shaun Edwards, Steven Ehret, Jonah Jacobs, MCXIII, Michelle Marie Murphy, Bob Peck, Scot Phillips, Scott Pickering, Joshua Rex, Greg Ruffing, Andrew Shondrick, Dana Depew, Dante Rodriguez and The Sign Guy.

Plus live musical “ambiances and outbursts” from the Oblique Orchestra.
