Fri 11/5 – Sun 11/14
Pippin, presented by Heights Youth Theatre, is a high energy tale of a young man searching for true fulfillment. Will he find it? Chances are, he’ll come across some great musical numbers along the way.
The scoop:
With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, a book by Roy O. Hirson, and originally choreographed and directed on Broadway by Bob Fosse, Pippin details one young man’s search for true fulfillment. This quest leads Pippin, the son of Charlemagne, to seek out life’s truths in the glories of war, the comfort of women, the seduction of power, and ultimately in the simple joys of family. Along the way, Pippin gives us classics like “Magic to Do”, “Corner of the Sky”, “With You”, and “Morning Glow”. This concept musical will be a thought-provoking, high energy, multimedia production that will be both a visually electrifying and an emotionally stirring theatre experience.
