Got a heavy metal fan on your holiday gift list? Head over to Now That’s Class where the Heavy Metal Flea Market will be taking place. You’ll find the indie rock club packed with dealers seeing such merch as T-shirts, vinyl, CDs, tapes, posters, stickers and patches. Their favorite kickass band will surely be represented. You’ll also find things that might be of interest to headbangers such as macabre home décor and horror film memorabilia.
Entry is a suggested donation of $1 to the James P. Konya scholarship fund at Kent State University, set up in honor of beloved local heavy metal musician Jim Konya, who died of a stroke last year. Konya merch from his personal collection will be on sale too, with money going to the fund.
