Locally Made Sci-Fi Movie Has Screenings Throughout the Area

Sun 6/22, Sun 6/29, Sun 7/6, Sun 7/20 & Sun 7/27 @ 1-4PM

The sci-fi film, Interval, written and directed by local filmmaker Marquette J. Williams, is described as “urban Afrofuturism,” and “Shaft meets Blade Runner.”

It will screen at the Atlas Theater at Shaker Square on Sun June 22 and Sunday June 29; at the Capitol Theatre in Gordon Square on Sunday July 6; at the Highland Square Theatre in Akron on Sunday July 20; and at the Cedar Lee Theater in Cleveland Heights on Sunday July 27. The actors and crew will be there to talk to patrons, and if you come dressed as a superhero or sci-fi character and get $5 off at the door. All screening times are 1-4pm
