Once again the Beachland Ballroom was filled with color and sparkle when the 13th annual Ohio Burlesque Fest packed the room for three days. Performers converged on Cleveland from all points of the country— California to New York, Texas to Seattle to Puerto Rico. With nearly 20 acts each night, the enthusiastic audiences got more than their money’s worth, with virtual every act as high quality as the headliners. Highlights were too numerous to mention — watch the slideshow! — but both festival founder/producer Bella Sin (pictured below) and her co-producer Heather & Lace knocked it out of the park as usual with their distinctive, artful costumed acts, proving Cleveland burlesque talent can match artists from anywhere. Emcees Viktor Devonne and Ken Schneck provided their usual humorous commentary and got the audience primed to respond.
