VIDEO: Jay Williams at @OneCommunity’s 100-gig Network Launch

This is huge.

OneCommunity just received federal funding to help build the first 100-gigabit commercial fiber network in the nation.

From PlayhouseSquare to University Circle, along Cleveland’s Health Tech Corridor, OneCommunity will lay a “fat pipe” of fiber, moving internet traffic from the current 40 gigabits per second, to a rate of 100 gigabits, more than 300 times faster than your average residential speed, and faster than anywhere else in the United States.
