PHOTOSTREAM: Heights Music Hop

Sat 10/11

The second annual Heights Music Hop enjoyed the same crisp, beautiful weather as the first, turning out droves of music fans to more than a dozen venues up and down Lee Road in Cleveland Heights. Eve ’n’ Stephen again set up their tent outside Sweetie Fry to provide music to listen to while enjoying your ice cream or fries. The Admirables had the crowd packed so tightly in Brennan’s Colony that listeners clustered on the sidewalk.

Oldboy played to an almost equally packed house at the Wine Spot, where earlier Eric Ling and Shanna Delaney of Bethesda, who headlined last year’s afterparty, showed off their new, stripped-down duo project By Light We Loom. Whether it was Harry Bacharach doing his piano pop stylings at Joey’s, Cities & Coasts playing dazzling Beach Boys-influenced pop at the Stone Oven, or Muamin Collective rocking the house at Phoenix Coffee with their smart, eclectic hip hop, there really was something for everyone in this all-ages crowd.
