Screw Factory Open House and Art Show Packs Building with Artists & Makers

Jewelry by One Cat To (sic) Many

Fri 5/3 @ 6-10PM

Sat 5/4 @ 10AM-3PM

You don’t have to wait until the holidays to visit Lakewood’s Screw Factory and check out artist studios and small businesses. The industrial building, whose top floors are filled with artist and maker spaces, typically holds open houses several times a year, adding guest vendors in the event spaces for its holiday show.

But its spring open studios and art show event will also add a bunch of visiting artists and makers to the mix including ceramicists, woodworkers, candlemakers, confectioners and the wonderfully named One Cat to (sic) Many, a jeweler from western Pennsylvania who handcrafts pieces from beach glass, vintage Pyrex, gemstones and more.

Of course, you’ll want to stop in and visit the resident artists in their spaces where you can get a good look at a full range of their wood and even a glimpse of their creative process, as well as vintage vendors. It’s an opportunity to get to know some of the area’s most creative people. Find a list of participating artists and vendors here.

It’s free and parking is free as well.
