Civil Rights Photographer Matt Herron Speaks at The Temple-Tifereth Israel

One of the nine photographers who work is on display in This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is Matt Herron who moved to Mississippi in the ’60s to photograph the unfolding movement for justice in the South.

Herron will be at The Temple-Tifereth Israel, next door to the Maltz Museum, to talk about his work in conversation with Barbara Tannenbaum, curator of photography at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
