King Chip Brings Hip Hop to the Grog Shop for a Pre-New Years Eve Party

Sun 12/30 @ 9PM

One of the veterans of the local hip-hop scene is Chip Tha Ripper aka King Chip (and known in real life as Charles Worth). His career reaches back more than a decade when he first began releasing mixtapes, the standard way of announcing your presence to that scene. He also collaborated extensively with slightly older Cleveland-area rapper Kid Cudi, whose success helped raise Worth’s profile. He changed his performing name to King Chip in 2012 but continues to performing a measured, slow-burning southern influenced style.

He’ll be headlining the “New Year’s Pre-Game show” with Quentin Miller at the Grog Shop for those who want an early start on their New Year’s celebration.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
