Portland, Oregon quintet Fruition has evolved over the last decade into a rootsy rock/pop/soul band colored by the sound of folk/bluegrass instruments such as mandolin and banjo and adorned with three-party harmonies.
The group’s new album Labor of Love, released in April, features a more electric sound still driven by the songwriting, lead vocals and harmonies of lead guitarist Jay Cobb Anderson, rhythm guitarist/pianist Kellen Asebroek and mandolinist/guitarist Mimi Naja.
Fruition will be performing at the Kent Stage. Tickets are $9.13 in advance, $12 at the door.
