Dancing Wheels Hosts LIVE! Benefit at Severance Hall

Fri 6/25 @ 6-11PM

Well, halleluia! We suspect many of you are as tired as we are of “virtual benefits” where you pour your own drinks and prepare your own munchies, then sit in front of a screen to watch nonprofit and arts directors talk abut the great work their group is doing and maybe offer a few performances to watch. At home. No mingling with friends or meeting new people who are also passionate about the group holding the event. Sigh.

Well, this week, that’s changing. Dancing Wheels, Cleveland’s unique and internationally celebrated ensemble whose intergrated choreography blends the movements of wheelchair and “stand-up” dancers, turns 40 with its “First, Fierce & For Everyone” benefit — at Severance Hall. Woo hoo!

There’s a VIP reception at 6:30 for the high rollers, followed by a performance at 8pm for those whose pocketbooks are slimmer but who still want to help out. There’s also a live streaming ticket for those who’ve gotten comfortable with the watch-at-home model. More options! Even better!

Go here to grab your tickets.
