An Orderly Life Is Shaken Up in Dobama’s “Something Clean”

Selina Fillinger’s 2019 play Something Clean, opening at Dobama Theatre this week, tells the story of a wife, mother and “respected member of the community” named Charlotte whose world is shaken up when her son is swnt to prison for sexual assault, forcing her to examine her own actions and feelings in depth. Directed by Shannon Sindelar, it features well-known local actress Derdriu Ring in the role of Charlotte, along with Robert Ellis and Isaiah Betts.

The show runs Thursdays through Saturdays, through Saturday March 30. Get tickets here.
