Thu 4/22 @ 6:30PM

Founded more than a decade ago by Erin Huber Rosen, the Cleveland-based nonprofit Drink Local. Drink Tap. aims to educate people about the importance of clean drinking water and help make it available to more people. It’s worked with local partners in Uganda to bring clean, safe drinking water and improved sanitation to schools, orphanages, villages and slums. Here in Cleveland, it hosts beach clean-ups and its signature fundraiser, 4 Miles 4 Water.

The short documentary film, Making Waves from Cleveland to Uganda, shares the story of the organization and the work it does. In honor of Earth Day, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History will hosting a virtual showing the film, followed by a presentation by Drink Local. Drink Tap. and an audience Q&A.
The program is free, but they are inviting people to donate to support both Drink Local. Drink Tap. and the CMNH’s virtual programming. Register here. Learn more about Drink Local. Drink Tap. here.
