The lineup for this show at the Grog Shop is exciting, featuring a bunch of the area’s indie-scene veterans with decades of aggressive music behind them: smart, musical hip-hoppers Muamin Collective, hip-hop artist Malik X, punk-rock quartet This Moment in Black History, and Obnox aka Lamont “Bim” Thomas, also the drummer in TMIBH, with his terse, angular post-punk solo project.
The show is being promoted as an Obnox record release but we came up empty when searching for information. This would be his first release since 2020’s Savage Raygun and it’s sure to be dynamic and unsettling. Get tix here.
