Blank Canvas Theatre and Arts in the Abbey have joined forces to present “Autumn Serenade: Fall in Love with Broadway,” taking place at the Hermit Club downtown.
Directed by Blank Canvas founder and artistic director Patrick Ciamacco with musical director by Matthew Dolan, the evening will feature tunes from Broadway musicals that focus on themes of transition and change, a frequent topic in Broadway musicals so there’s plenty to choose from. Singers include Benson Anderson, Carolyn Demanelis, Neely Gevaart, Kate Leigh Michalski, Shane Patrick O’Neill and Michael Snider.
The Hermit Club Bar opens at 6pm, with the performance starting at 7. All tickets are general admission and you’re encouraged to come in “cocktail attire” to help set the mood. Get tickets here; all tickets sales benefit the nonprofit Hermit Club which presents Arts in the Abbey.
