It’s that time of year when little sounds better than a bowl of steaming hot soup. So it’s the ideal time for the 2016 Souperbowl CLE in Gordon Square.
You can help honor Cleveland’s best soups by buying a ticket, walking to the various participating restaurants and businesses, sampling the offerings and then voting via text in various categories. More than two dozen restaurant and an additional two dozen businesses will be taking part. And yes — this always comes up these days — there will be copious vegetarian and vegan options.
Tickets are $25, and proceeds benefit the West Side Catholic Center which provides offered hot meals, hospitality, clothing and household goods, emergency services, advocacy, a women and children’s shelter, and a housing solutions program to those in need at no charge, regardless of religious affiliation.
